When They Have Doubts · One Person Big Difference
When they have doubts

Doubts are welcome.

When someone questions this, it usually means they're taking it seriously — and that's a good thing. The worst move is to get defensive. Here's how to answer the two questions that come up most, with calm, honest confidence.

The honest answer is always the strongest one.

The big one

"Isn't this just a pyramid scheme?"

Don't flinch at this one — lean into it. The honest answer is the most convincing answer, and transparency is what disarms a skeptic.

In Michelle's voice — make it your own

I love that you asked me that — really. It means you're paying attention, and you should be. I asked the very same thing before I ever said yes.

Here's what settled it for me. A pyramid scheme has no real product — people pay just to pull others in, and it collapses because there's nothing underneath it. That's illegal, and it's not this.

What we have is real products that thousands of people reorder every month simply because they love them. Most of our customers have never sold a thing and never will. I don't get paid to sign people up — I get paid when products people actually want get used. No customers, no income.

And here's the part I think matters most: the company publishes an income disclosure — right out in the open — showing what people really earn. Most earn modestly, and I'll never promise you'll get rich. A scheme would never hand you those numbers. We do — and I'll show you right now if you'd like.

So no, it's not a pyramid. It's a real company, with real products, and real people deciding whether it's a fit for them. No pressure either way. I just want you to have the truth.

Why this works: the legal line is simple — real products, real customers, and pay tied to product moving (not to recruiting). Offering the income disclosure before they even ask is the most disarming thing you can do. Keep the official statement handy so you can send it on the spot.

When they ask about Amazon

"It's on Amazon — why would I buy from you?"

Short version: the LifeVantage store on Amazon protects you — it doesn't compete with you. Here's the real reasoning, straight from the company:

  • It's priced higher than you. Products on the official LifeVantage Amazon store list above retail — generally about 12% above — so you can always offer your customers a better price than Amazon.
  • It shuts down the real competition. Before the official store, unauthorized resellers were posting LifeVantage products on Amazon and undercutting everyone. The company's store, plus an ongoing monitoring partner, gets them removed and blocks new ones.
  • It protects what you're actually getting. Those unauthorized resellers don't just undercut on price — their product can be counterfeit, not even real Protandim Nrf2. Buying from your consultant or the official store means you know it's genuine. It's a real risk, and it's exactly what the official store and Amazon's own monitoring exist to shut down.
  • You're covered if you lose a sale. LifeVantage offers a commission guarantee — if a customer buys through the official Amazon store instead of from you, the company pays you the customer sales profit (one-time; terms apply).
  • It's still a direct-sales company. Amazon doesn't change that — the direct selling channel is core to how LifeVantage operates, and that isn't going away.
  • A portion gives back. Part of the Amazon proceeds goes to LifeVantage Legacy, the company's nonprofit.

So when a prospect says "it's on Amazon, why buy from you?" — the honest answer is: "You'd actually pay more on Amazon. That store exists to keep random resellers from undercutting all of us, and I can get it to you for less."
